They first met in The Cancer Support Group,with Augustus mistaken her to his ex-girl who died of brain tumour years ago. One day,Hazel was unconscious and Tus snuck into the ICU to see her. He just walked in behind a nurse and sat nest to Hazel for like ten minutes before he got caught. He really thought Hazel was going to die before he could tell her that he was going to die,too. It was brutal that the incessant merchanized haranguing of intensive care. Hazel had this dark cancer dripping our of her chest, eye closed,intubated......quoted from Augustus letter in the final chapter of the book. Sadly Tus died after a lengthy battlr with cancer...
With this wonderful and heart-breaking novel, we have a deeper and rawer view into human thoughts with have one foot at the grave and we will appreciate our life more.
