The panpipe is a traditional Chinese musical instrument, which is composed of multiple pipes of the same material by bundling, gluing or frame fixing. The inner tube is plugged with beeswax or cork. When playing, the airflow over the top hits the other side, shaking the inner tube wall, creating music. Due to the different positions of the beeswax and cork, the period of the airflow vibration in the tube can be different, so different vibration frequencies of the airflow will produce different tones.
